Here at the Buchanan Counseling Center, we understand that facing life's challenges alone can be overwhelming. Our therapy groups provides a supportive environment where you can connect with others who are going through similar struggles. In group therapy, participants have the opportunity to: (1) share their experiences with others who understand, (2) learn from others who have faced similar challenges, (3) develop new coping skills and strategies, (4) gain insight into yourself and your relationships, (5) receive support and encouragement from others, and (6) practice communication and social skills in a safe environment.
Our therapy groups are led by experienced therapists who are committed to helping you achieve your goals. We offer a variety of group therapy options, including: Women Empowerment, Mother & Daughter Relationship Issues, Marital Relationship Issues, and Alopecia. Rising Strong Sisters Empowerment Group is a safe and supportive space for women to come together and share their struggles, triumphs, and experiences. Through group therapy and empowerment coaching, we help each other rise above adversity, build resilience, and reach full potential. Bald and Beautiful is a support group for individuals looking to embrace life with alopecia. We come together to provide a safe and welcoming space for those who are coping with the challenges of hair loss. Our goal is to empower members to embrace their beauty, build a strong sense of self-confidence, and support one another as we navigate the emotional and physical journey.
Reconnect and Thrive
Reconnect and Thrive Couples Group provides a supportive environment for couples to enhance their relationship using the Prepare/Enrich program. Through interactive exercises and discussions, couples will explore areas of strength and growth, learn effective communication skills, and build intimacy and trust in their relationship.
LOVE ACROSS GENERATIONS
Love Across Generations is a therapy group specifically designed for mothers and daughters to address and heal relationship issues that may have developed over time. Together, we will explore how to communicate effectively, build trust, and strengthen the bond between mother and daughter across all generations.
